Nutritional supplements can be a very beneficial part of the healing process, and, done correctly, taking supplements can be effective at improving overall health and well-being.

Our supplement store was created to provide a selection of hand-picked, professional-grade, and nutritionist-approved supplements that are gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free.

It was also designed to take the guesswork out of which supplements are autoimmune friendly for those with autoimmunity. Those with autoimmunity or following the Autoimmune Protocol can see at a glance which supplements are compliant with the AIP and are free of immune-stimulating ingredients by looking for the 'AIP compliant' stamp.

Our store is NOT just for those with autoimmunity! It is also fantastic for people without autoimmunity who want the peace of mind that their supplements are of the best quality and allergen-free.

Many nutritional supplements on the market contain soy, gluten, or dairy, which can all be problematic for those with and without autoimmunity.

Additionally, some compounds and herbs used in supplements are known to stimulate the immune system. Immune stimulants may result in a flare in autoimmune process for those with autoimmunity, increasing the immune system's attack against its own tissues!

The autoimmune protocol recommends removing all potential triggers during the initial healing stages of autoimmunity, including immune-stimulating ingredients in supplements.

Not everyone with autoimmunity will react to all immune-stimulating herbs and compounds, and for many, these herbs and compounds can be helpful for their healing. Once symptoms are under control, and a baseline of health has been achieved, these ingredients can be considered as reintroductions.

For those without autoimmunity, there is no need to avoid supplements that contain immune stimulants.
